EXCEPTIONAL FACES: A HUMAN TAPESTRY
With a background as a psychologist, I have had the opportunity to touch many a human life and to photograph many a person with developmental disabilities. It is a tragedy that so many persons with disabilities have no photographic evidence of their lives. Enter EXCEPTIONAL FACES, a project that I launched recently. It is my monthly mission to offer one exceptional individual and his/her loved ones photographs. I do this because it feeds my soul – no strings attached. Is fifty years old long enough to wait for your first date? How about three years for your child to say “mommy”? And what about a couple that has been married for 26 years?– Have they proven themselves yet? Join me as we walk through the human tapestry of emotions experienced by persons with disabilities.
